Wo darf der Hund frei laufen?
Beatrixpark is in Amsterdam-Zuid, next to the RAI. The park opened in 1938. Dogs can be off leash in a large part of it, not in the whole park.
Dogs are not allowed along the large pond, at the paddling pool, or in the herb garden. Keep the leash on around the pond, along the palisades, and under the chestnut trees. In the rest of the designated area the dog can be off leash. The signs and the municipality dog map show the boundary.

The water’s edge is not a swimming spot for dogs. The municipality has warned that the bank protection can have sharp edges under the surface. Do not let a dog jump in there.
Komme ich dort selbst auch zurecht?
Barbecues are not allowed. There is a public toilet at the paddling pool.

Dann bleibt der Hund an der Leine. Frei laufen darf er nur auf dem Stück, das die Verwaltung ausgewiesen hat.

Muss ich den Kot aufheben?
Ja, auch in einem Freilaufgebiet. Nur ein Schild, das das Aufheben dort ausnimmt, macht eine Ausnahme.
