Labrador Retriever

Herja is a predominantly working-line Labrador who absolutely loves retrieving. Outdoors she’s energetic, focused and incredibly responsive, especially when there’s something to retrieve. Indoors, however, she’s convinced she’s a lap dog and will happily prove that a Labrador does, in fact, fit on your lap.

Idunn absolutely loves using her nose. Tracking and scent work are some of her favourite things to do and she tackles them with loads of enthusiasm. There may only be one thing she loves even more: food. She is a Labrador, after all. 😉

Skadi is Juno’s daughter from her second litter and has a working-line Labrador as her father. She’s the dog who got me properly involved in gundog training, and together we discovered just how much fun working and training as a team can be.

Freyja was the first Labrador we bred ourselves and comes from show lines. At 10 years old she’s still wonderfully active, loves retrieving and is always up for an adventure. She especially loves going out together with her granddaughter Herja.

Juno is the oldest of the family at 13 years old. She’s incredibly sweet and cuddly and nowadays prefers taking her time on walks, sniffing everything along the way. Despite the huge age difference, she and our youngest Sága are absolute best friends.

Sága is the clown of the family and approaches life with a lot of enthusiasm. She loves her mum Herja and her 13-year-old great-great-grandmother and BFF Juno. Outdoors she’s active and loves gundog training, while at home she turns into an incredibly cuddly Labrador who prefers to sleep with her head tucked into your neck.
