Question 1

What is the best Cohley alternative for dog brands?

Accepted Answer

Dogfluence is the only influencer platform purpose-built for dog brands. It includes dog-breed filtering and dog sizing data for sample sendouts — none of which Cohley offers. For dog brands wanting an always-on ambassador program rather than a content production and testing tool, Dogfluence is the clear alternative.

Question 2

Is there a cheaper alternative to Cohley?

Accepted Answer

Cohley requires a sales conversation and operates on enterprise pricing with no public tiers. Dogfluence has a Free plan; paid plans start at $199/month with transparent self-serve plans and a 30-day free trial on the Scale plan at $399/month. Billo offers UGC video from approximately $59/video for brands with smaller budgets. Collabstr lets you pay per creator with fully transparent pricing and no monthly fee.

Question 3

Why do dog brands switch from Cohley?

Accepted Answer

Three main reasons: Cohley has no breed-level creator filtering — you cannot guarantee your dog product reaches the right breed owner; it has no dog sizing data for product sample sendouts; and it is a content production and testing platform rather than an ongoing ambassador program. Dog brands wanting sustained creator relationships and breed-matched ambassadors typically move to Dogfluence.

Question 4

Does Cohley have dog breed filtering?

Accepted Answer

No. Cohley matches creators using general category, demographic, and content style filters — not the breed of dog they own. This means a dog harness brand cannot guarantee its product reaches a creator with the right dog breed or size. Dogfluence has breed-level filtering and dog sizing data (neck girth, chest girth, body length) built in.

Question 5

What does Dogfluence offer that Cohley does not?

Accepted Answer

Dogfluence offers four capabilities Cohley does not have: dog-breed creator filtering, dog sizing data on creator profiles, PostMetrics attribution (tracking creator-level reach and engagement), and an ongoing ambassador management model. Cohley's strengths — content A/B testing, scalable asset production, and performance data on creative variants — serve a different need than sustained dog ambassador programs.
