Hondenspeelplaats de Geus: dogs off-leash in Amsterdam
Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
Where can the dog be off leash?
Hondenspeelplaats de Geus is a dog playground in Amsterdam. A marked spot for playing, smaller than a walk in the woods.
In Amsterdam, dogs stay on a leash in streets and parks, except where a sign allows them off leash. Playgrounds, sandpits and play meadows are off limits.

What if there is no sign?
Keep the dog on a leash. Off leash is only allowed on the part the manager has designated.
Who decides which part that is?
The manager of the place. The signs on site overrule this page.
Do I have to pick up?
Yes, including in an off-leash area, unless a sign there says you do not have to.
Do creators from this network post from Hondenspeelplaats de Geus?
