We recently started an account to share our life with Boris, a 2 year old Belgian malinois we adopted from the shelter. We want to break the stigma of dangerous/aggressive breed and want to show the world that these dogs can be pretty cute too, just like retrievers, doodles, dachshunds, etc. At the same time we want to deal creatively with all the ups and downs of life with dogs. Many dog owners and even dog lovers will recognize our content, not just shepherd/working dog owners! There are many accounts of Malinois' but (in our opinion) far too few that show the non-sports side of life with them. We don't want to trivialize living with a working dog (especially a Malinois), but in "challenging them" are so many more possibilities than just a training or a long walk... Think of (food-) enrichment, detection, puzzles, etc. we love to be creative and to think out-of-the-box! In the future we also hope to inspire others and in return you get the most wonderful pet dog!
