My little Brother Sammy passed away in May 2021 by suicide. My Brother and I were best friends, so accepting his passing has been difficult for me and I found myself struggling with my own mental health.In an effort to give myself purpose, I adopted Sammi and named her after my Brother. Hearing people say “Sammi and Katie” again makes me feel as if I am keeping my Brother’s memory alive. Sammi is a quirky, energetic dog with beautiful blue eyes. She is part Staffy and Siberian Husky & has the best characteristics of both breeds. Our channel is an opportunity for people to observe my journey of healing after loss with my puppy as we travel, hike, advocate for mental health, and do everyday activities.
