Jade was rescued from a backyard breeder while pregnant in 2021 and saved from euthanasia by the Artemis Project. She and her 11 puppies made it to Omaha, NE where they were all adopted. Seven months after adopting Jade she tested positive for heartworm. Thanks to her rescue and our family giving her monthly preventatives it slowed the progression of the disease and we were able to treat her successfully. Now Jade is on a mission to help other dogs in foster based rescue find new homes as well as educate others about bully breeds.
