The Hamburg-based start-up company "Höhlenhund GmbH" was founded in 2020 by long-time school friends Benjamin Marquardt and Holm Erdmann. The core product is the eponymous sleeping cave bed for small to medium-sized dogs. We have developed the first high-quality and stylish dog sleeping cave with a fully orthopedic lying surface and ergonomic 360° ring, which serves as a headrest, for your four-legged friend. Our motivation is to create a stylish eye-catcher in your living room and to offer your dog a suitable, dog-friendly place to chill, relax, play and sleep. Only high-quality materials and textiles were used for the "Höhlenhund". The mattress is made of high quality viscoelastic memory foam with extra high density. The combination with an extra layer of supportive PU foam helps to prevent health problems of dogs, such as back pain or joint diseases like osteoarthritis, and to relieve pain. The dome-like shape of the sleeping cave helps dogs calm down and relax completely, as their natural need for protection and security is satisfied. Dogs love to watch - the "Höhlenhund" is the best place for this. Your dog will love the cozy and warm interior and you will be pleased with the modern and stylish look in your living spaces. Be it in your living room, bedroom or office. The "Höhlenhund" is made in Germany and is available in eight different, subtle colors. It has a diameter of 75 cm and is thus specially designed for small to medium-sized dogs (max. 18 kg). If necessary, the roof can be easily removed by zipper. Of course, all textile fabrics are separately removable and can be conveniently washed at home.
